A morning at the outpatient Hospital

We spent the morning at the Outpatient Hospital for a small problem Joe needed taken care of. We had to be there at 6:30 am they started at about 8:45 am and was done about 10:25am. No matter how big or small the problem is, it is very stressful sitting there waiting for the Doctor to come out and talk to you. After about an hour and a half in Recovery...I brought him home...he is sleeping like a baby...it's always hard when it's someone you love......

Great Grandma Gay's Roses

In 2007 for a house warming, my sister Connie gave me a starter Rose from the rose bush that was on my Great Grandma Gay's Farm. I did not know much about flowers then, but thought I would at least try to make it grow. Turns out I have great soil, and found out I love my flower beds. The one next to the garage is the one she gave me, since then I have divided it 7 more times. I have one in the back flower bed, and this spring I had two more starters, so I put them behind the garage. I now have a total of four in my yard. The other 4.... I gave to friends...they are beautiful, but do get out of control..I cut it back sometimes, but I think it only helps it...what do you think

BLIZZARD of 2011

We have had alot of snow in Indiana since we moved here in 84..but this takes the cake..Never have seen chicago shut down like it did the last two days..

On Monday I lost my sweet friend Rob...this picture was taken on one of the many road trips we took , he loved to come along with us..we always go as couples..and he was by himself..but he did't care..we always had fun..this was in Tennessee...He went to football games..baseball games, St Patty day parties, new years Eve parties...came to our kids weddings...going away parties...25th Anniversary parties..what ever the occation he was there with us.. Never an unkind word came out of his mouth..a HEART of GOLD...someone said God takes the BEST...I will really miss you Rob!!! Love you..by the way Rob is on the far left

The New Year..2011

We went out with our friends on New Years Eve...had a great dinner ..some dancing..we always leave before for our friends do...but still have a good time..We get all dressed up for this night...Well I had problems...nothing fit..my hair would not do what i wanted...My two friends were getting up do's and their nails done...I did'nt...really did'nt have the extra this year..since Christmas was just a week ago..Joe told me he never liked up do's anyway...think he just wanted me to feel better... Teresa gave me under garments to make me look smoother and to fit better...but by golly I really need to lose some weight..so I'm working on it...among other things...What are going to work on this year???
