I'm so excited

I usually don't brag or boast about THINGS... but I'm so excited to have a 2nd car finally... We have been down to one car for over a year... the Cavalier died over a year ago.. but we did not want a used car because the Saturn was already 4 years old ...Joe puts so many miles on a car with his job that we need a dependable car...but I only want one car payment... I feel that's all we can afford... so we buy a car after the current car if paid for..I drive the old car back and forth to work and Joe drives the new one.. well it did not work this time... the old one died before the other was paid off...so we only had one car for quite some time. I just paid off the Saturn.. so I told Joe we need to buy a new one...We went to our GM dealer on Monday and the salesman told us they were having really good rebates for the month of July to get rid of the 2010 models so they could make room for the 2011's...they know Joe there because he put the phone system in their business...we told the salesman that we were going to go home and talk about it and come back on Wednesday as they were about to close..and we would both be off that day... as we were about to leave... the salesman said hey Joe can't you get the GM discount to use???? Joe said he could and he told us we could also use it this month along with the rebates they have... also for the month of July GM was offering $2500 off instead of $1500 just for the rest of the month.. we went back on Wednesday early in the morning, because we wanted to go before they got busy.. we picked out the color and model we wanted ... was about to sign the papers and this thought came to me...I said to the finance guy... are you offering rebates on the colbalt?.. a much smaller car like our cavalier.. he said YES they need to move them out, because they will no longer be making them for 2011.. I looked at Joe and said if the rebates and the GM discount is good enough would you consider trading in the Saturn...It has almost 96,000 miles on it ... started costing money the past 2 months etc... if the payments are low enough would you go for it?????  So the salesman said...why don't you guys  go to lunch ...leave the Saturn here and we will look at it and tell you what we can give you for it..... we came back ..he told us what the GM discount was, the rebate and the trade in... what the car payment was.. I said lets go for it... both paymnts are only a few $ more than what I was paying for the Saturn.... I know this is long, but we came home with 2 new cars...I don't have to worry about breaking down or being down to 1 car... trying to figure out our schedules to get back in forth...'m so excited.....:)
