The little things mean alot to me!!!!!!!!

Today I was off work and at home , feeling the same stomach flu that my little crazy Cousin K has had all week. Poor thing is drained because of this flu, I myself only felt a little queezy. I opened the door this morning and felt the nice warm weather hit my face (about 50) outside today , a change from the freezing cold we have had all week. I called CCK to the door and she got all excited and said "we can go to the park". Zesa said way to go MOM she is sick and needs to be in bed, so I had to explain to her that her face was very pale and we had to wait until her face was pink again before she could go out. Zesa then decided to run to the store to pick up a few thing for her and, CCK talked Zesa into taking her, While they were at the store CCK told Zesa that they needed to buy flowers for Granny, so Zesa let her pick out a bunch of tulips. On the way home CCK got sick in the car and threw up all over her self and the tulips she was holding so tightly. Zesa brought her in the house and I put her in the bathtub, while Zesa cleaned up the car. Zesa then called me to the kitchen and said Mom, CCK bought these for you as she was washing them in the sink. I ask her why she was washing them and she explained that CCK really wanted me to have them, but as she was vomiting all over them she said. Now we can't give them to Granny I puked on them..... she was very upset.. well they wash up really good because now they are on the center of my table...It's the small stuff in life I like, thank CCK

Happy Birthday Dear Mike

Tomorrow is my brothers Birthday even though he is the tallest in the family his still my little brother... Mike was the youngest in our family most of my growing up years until the twins came along years later. He probably would not want people to know that my sister and I dressed him up like a little girl when he was a toddler, because he was darn cute..... He is 6 1/2 years younger than I am, and I do remember when my Mom was pregnant with him and the day he was born.... He is a really good guy and a very Hard worker........ He lives in Florida and works on a Construction crew. He loves to spend time goofing off with my brother Jeff ( they are buddies) and Hunting with him... I wish I could spend more time with him because I always have a good time laughing and joking with him... Here's to you Mike , have a Happy Birthday Tomorrow!!!! from the whole FAMILY

Happy Birthday Mom

This is my Mom, she is 70 years old today... she is the mother of seven children, she married my Dad 52 years ago, she was a stay at home Mom for most of my childhood, she is a great cook... you can't come into her house with out her offering to feed you. She loves to read and loves her flower beds. She is still friends with the girls she went to grade school and High School with, I think that is amazing. She still lives on the same property that she grew up on. She has been through alot this past year caring for my dad and his illness and for the first time in her life she is on her own, as Dad is no longer with us. I'm sure a big change for her. She took very good care of Dad while he was ill, and I'm sure she is still catching up on the sleep she lost as it has only been 4 weeks. Here's to you Mom, for all you are to all seven of us...Hope you have a very Happy 70th Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!

Today a dear friend of mine called and ask if we would like to go out to dinner with them. I have been friends with them since 1976 and they are very dear to us. When we got here she told me she had made something for me.. she took this blanket out of a bag and held it up, at first I didn't know what it was... she said please don't look to see if it's square or straight, just know I made it because I love you. It was pieces of a sweat shirt my dad wore and some of his pj's bottoms that she cut up and made a blanket out of....... After looking at I started to cry , Zesa had got the items and gave them to her the day of the funeral....I love it, it meant so much to me that she would take the time to do this for me... I love her and that's why we have been friends for so long. Thanks Cathy, I love you

Happy Birthday G

Today is my sweet nephew's 10Th Birthday, he is so kind and sweet...
I don't get alot of time with him, because he lives in Nevada, but I try to keep up with him through the blogs and facebooks my sister and I have. He gets very good grades in school, loves sports and I even think loves his sister..... He reminds me of my Dad when I look into his eyes... Have a Happy Birthday G--man, it's your day
Love you Lots... can't believe it's been 10 years since I came out and held you, did you know that when you were first born you slept on my chest all night so we could let mommy sleep.....

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day everyone, I have to go to work to day, and it will be very busy. Our store is a last minute store so everyone waits to the last minute then they rush in to get their valentine gift. The jewelery counter will be swapped with last minute shoppers and the check-out will be out of control. Tonight J&I are going to a Valentine Dinner & Dance with some of our friends, this is the 3rd or 4th year we went and we enjoy it. J is my Valentine and I love him very much, we normally went out to dinner alone in years past, but this is a fun time. We sent out our Valentines to the grandkids and some goodies to each, but this year we are not buying for each other just like Christmas, we would rather do for the kids.....
This is also my brother Tim's birthday, he is driving his truck some where, but I wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday... Happy Birthday Tim!!!!!!!!
