Happy Birthday George

Today is my father in Law's 69th Birthday... He is the greatest.
I meet him when I was dating my husband some 34 years ago. He is not my husband's
father, but is marrried my sweet Mother in law. He never had children of his own, but loves each of my husbands brothers and sisters as is they were his children..
he also is the greatest grandpa, everyone calles him grandpa George. He is always full of hugs and Kisses. There is not one thing in this world he would not do for anyone.
He is also battling Cancer and is having a tuff time right now with his treatments.
We love him so much... Happy Birthday Grandpa, We love you

My day

I need to be in the basement organizing thing, because Zesa just finished the shelves and they look really good, but I feel drained.... thinking alot about my Dad and his life...... I know it part of life but, everytime I left Michigan I knew I would see him again or talk to him on the phone... now it's hard to think that I will never see him on this earth again......miss him alot already. Duggie is sleeping, and I have alot to do....just can't bring myself to get started. I need to make a list of things to get done and start crossing them off...I'll start now

Happy Birthday my dear little BUG

This is my oldest Grandson, we call him BUG!!! He is 11 years old today, is'nt he just the cutest... I am so proud of him, he takes really good care of his baby sister, loves to play baseball and gets really good grades in school.. His favorite baseball team is the Chicago White Sox, but he loves to watch most any team. He loves his PAPA and enjoyed spending time with his BUMPA, who went to heaven this week.
He will really miss him. Happy Birthday we love you

My Hero

This is my DAD, He is my HERO... From the minute I looked into his beautiful BLUE eyes even the first time, I know I loved him. I was with him this morning when he took his last breath and went to HEAVEN. This man did not have very much but he gave us all he had, mostly just hugs and kisses. He always wanted to help do work on our homes. He never missed work and always work hard with his HANDS. We will miss him so much...

Beautiful Snow

We woke up to beautiful fluffy snow this morning, I really don't like the cold weather to much, but I love the beauiful snow. It is so fluffy that you can't even make so snow ball let alone a snow man. I was going to go scrap off the car for J while he got ready for work because I don't have to go into work until later. While I was out there, J came out and started up the snowblower because he did realize that we got that much. He started with our driveway and the main walks and then did the two elderly women's houses that live next to us. When he came back in to finish getting ready for work there was a message on the answering machine from the woman across the street. She said Thank you J for clearing my drive way, you are an angel sent to us.... I thought if she only knew!!!! Ha Ha

My Hubby

This is my Husband, and I think he is the greatest. He loves his children and worries about them and their well being all the time even though they are adults with children of their own. He would give the shirt off his back if he knew one of his kids needed something. His grandchildren are his everything and he really misses the three that are in Michigan. When we were there at Christmas our youngest that just turned ONE pulled at his heart strings and he did not want to leave her. (Miss
M&M is so loveable and Happy).
We will never be rich by any means, but he gives all he has even though he might not always feel like going to work. He is always here, he might be quiet in front of the T.V. with a book in his hand, but he is always HERE.... I love that about him.
Some people in our lives have never got to know him as a man or the person he really is because he does'nt get close to everyone, he puts up a wall alot of times, but to
me he's a big teddy bear..
